Raising the Bar: Help Us Bring Agility Back to FiveJays!
If you’ve ever watched the high-octane action of Flyball on Crufts and thought, “my dog would love that,” now is your chance to get For four decades, the sound of paws hitting the turf has been the heartbeat of FiveJays Dog Training Club. We’ve shared 40 years of weaves, jumps, and wagging tails. However, as we look to the future, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to pause our agility sessions. Our faithful wooden equipment has served us well, but it no longer meets the rigorous safety and performance standards of today’s modern competition kits.
This is where our next chapter begins.
To celebrate our Ruby Anniversary, and becoming a charity, we have launched a major fundraising campaign to kit out our classes with state-of-the-art metal and rubber agility equipment. We have the instructors ready to teach, the paddock ready to run, and the passion to make it happen.
Now, we just need the funds to cross the finish line. It’s a big challenge, but we know our incredible supporters will help us clear this final hurdle!!

Help FiveJays Keep the Tail Wagging: Our Ruby Anniversary Appeal!
For 40 years, FiveJays Dog Training Club has been a vital social hub in Whittlesey. As we celebrate our Ruby Anniversary, we face a critical turning point: our original, hand-built agility equipment has finally retired after decades of service, leaving our “Agility for All” classes on hold. We are a non-profit run entirely by volunteers, keeping fees low to ensure inclusion for everyone—regardless of age, background, or ability. However, this means we cannot fund the £8,500 needed for new, professional-grade equipment and secure storage through class fees alone.
With a five-month manufacturing lead time, we must place our order by the end of 2026 to resume classes for 2027. Agility isn’t just a hobby; it’s a frontline tool against obesity and social isolation. Research indicates that canine and owner health are deeply linked, with studies in journals like Nature showing dog obesity correlates with owner BMI. By donating or sharing our story, you help us keep our community active, safe, and connected. Every contribution ensures that the next generation of Fenland dogs and their humans can stay on the move.

The FiveJays Training Passports
With 40 years of expertise, FiveJays Dog Training Club ensures your progress is clear, consistent, and rewarding. Our Training Passport Awards system breaks your journey into six levels: Foundation, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
Transparent Progress & Quality
We don’t hold you back. You and your trainer use the passport to track milestones in real-time, signing off exercises as you master them. To ensure the highest standards, an independent assessor occasionally visits classes to request random demonstrations. For our advanced levels, certain exercises are signed off by an independent examiner under competition-style conditions.
Start Your Journey
Complete a level by the end of the month to earn your certificate and optional rosette. You will receive a printed passport at your first session, but you can preview the requirements by downloading the PDF version in the members portal.
